Our client is an international tier one automotive supplier, that provides OEMs with a variety of products and solutions in hardware, software as well wide expertise in the mobilty area.
Further it provides parts, equipment and services for customers in the aftermarket worldwide.

 As the Product & Cyber Security Officer, you play a pivotal role in safeguarding the Cyber Security of the company‘s products in the aftermarket and the overarching company IT infrastructure on a global scale.
Topic Owner:   
  • You are the first point of contact for product-related/general IT system Cyber Security
  • Responsible for competence management (especially Cyber Security awareness), allocation of relevant Cyber Security resources & interface to product-related Cyber Security research activities
  • Giving internal trainings and carry out technical workshops on Cyber Security issues and trends

Governance & Compliance:
  • Take charge of the governance for product-related and general IT system security activities on behalf of executive management
  • Implement and enforce product-related and general IT system Cyber Security directives and standards
  • Intervene in Cyber Security-related activities and promptly escalate when necessary, according to threat-risk analysis or incident information.
  • Establishment of a suitable Cyber Security Management System & ensure that projects define relevant Cyber Security-related requirements

Risk Reporting:
  • You ensure that Cyber Security-related risks with relevance are appropriately reported according to internal directives and standards as well as find and implement solutions in case of cyber risk incidents.

  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree, MBA or PhD with Cyber Security background
  • Expert knowledge in IT Security & Information Security Risk Management (e.g. threat risk analysis, finding and balancing security controls). Experience with ISO 21434 is a plus
  • Cyber Security certifications are beneficial (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CISA)
  • Broad general IT-knowledge (programming languages, databases and infrastructure related technologies)
  • Strong technical leadership paired with defined communication, moderation and networking skills.
  • Cooperation: You are a strong team player and interested in collaboration with colleagues from other domains, cross-hierarchical
  • Very good in German and English (written and spoken)
